This policy explains how malaysia-tourism.org ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We are an independent travel team based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, our forms ask for:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address (optional)
- travel details you choose to give, such as dates, destinations and group size
- any message you write
Please do not include passport numbers, payment details or health information in the form. If we need documents for a booking, we will tell you how to send them.
How your enquiry reaches us
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through FormSubmit, a third-party form service. FormSubmit processes your submission in order to deliver it, under its own privacy terms, and the message is then stored in our email inbox.
How we use your information
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and itineraries, arrange and manage your booking, and keep records of the trips we arrange. We do not sell your personal information.
When we share it
We share only what is needed with the suppliers involved in your trip, such as hotels, airlines and transport providers, so they can make and honour your bookings. These suppliers handle your information under their own policies. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a government authority.
Third-party services on this site
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and shows an embedded Google Map. When your browser loads them, these services may collect technical data, such as your IP address and browser details, and may set their own cookies. Google's privacy policy governs that use. Like most websites, our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs for security and maintenance.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to arrange any trip you book. Booking records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, tax or legal reasons. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within a reasonable period.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to us through our contact page. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may have to keep some records where the law requires. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Applicable law
We are based in India, and our handling of personal information is subject to Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its provisions come into effect. We aim to handle your information in line with these laws.
