Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival and Kuala Lumpur sightseeing

   Our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Your introduction to Kuala Lumpur covers the KLCC area around the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka Square and other city highlights.

2. Day 2

   Batu Caves and Genting Highlands

   Drive north to Batu Caves, a striking Hindu temple set inside limestone caves, then continue into the hills to Genting Highlands for cable car rides and leisure activities in the cooler mountain air.

3. Day 3

   Fly to Langkawi

   Transfer to the airport for your flight to Langkawi. Check in, then relax on the beach and watch the sun go down over the sea.

4. Day 4

   Langkawi island tour

   Explore Langkawi, including Eagle Square and its scenic viewpoints, with time for duty-free shopping. An island hopping tour can be added as an option.

5. Day 5

   Departure

   After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Practical notes for a Kuala Lumpur start

• If you are flying in, Kuala Lumpur International Airport is about an hour from the city centre by road, or around half an hour to KL Sentral on the KLIA Ekspres train.
• If you already live in or are staying in the city, tell us your address or hotel when you enquire so we can confirm the pickup arrangements.
• Batu Caves sits on the northern edge of the city and Genting Highlands is around an hour's drive away, which is why the two pair so well in one day.
• Batu Caves is a working temple with a long staircase of 272 steps. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that covers your shoulders and knees.
• Langkawi has regular flights back to Kuala Lumpur, so the tour links easily with an onward international flight.
